About Krav Maga

Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and other branches of the Israeli security services. It has since been taught to various US and international military and law enforcement agencies.

Krav Maga is no-nonsense self defense system and does not rely on traditional "spiritual" nature of most martial arts. It has evolved as a direct result of the difficulties the IDF experienced in its founding years trying to train people of different physical background in an instinctive, effective self defense system that can be learned quickly and applied effectively.
